These images taken over last three months of farmers' protests in Punjab and Delhi border
INDIA WOKE up to the determination of Punjab's farmers on November 26 when national television started relaying images of the long march to Delhi border.
But the movement had been gathering pace since September 25 when the 31 farmers' unions first came together to sit in protest on national highways, railway lines and major corporate outlets.
On the day of Dussehra festival on October 25, villages across Punjab burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with corporate icons Mukhesh Ambani and Gautam Adani as symbols of evil.
From November 26 onwards, they took the protest to Delhi galvanising support from other states and sections of society while braving tear gas shells and water cannons on the way.
Here are images of last three months from the protest sites.
